I have decided to post more pictures of sacred sites I have visited.  Some are in China, others are in New England (primarily Western Massachusetts).  These sites all share one thing in common-they have very strong healing energies associated with them.  By visiting them, or especially by meditating at one, a person can quickly transmute large amounts of karma, heal their body and release long-blocked emotions.  Many of the sites are located where ley lines (the earth’s meridian channels) cross to create a vortex or portal of positive energy.  Even looking at a picture of one of these sites can give you a powerful healing experience.  As you do so open yourself to the healing energy, to feelings of unconditional love and the support of the universe.  If negative feelings arise, thank them for helping you to hone your focus and then let them go.

This White Oak, located near the border between Amherst and Hadley, Massachusetts, has very strong energies of love and joy.  It is associated with music, romance and fun.

This labyrinth is located in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA and I believe it was built within the last 2 years.  It can help a person connect more with the earth and its soul, and also complete the link between earth and heaven.

I decided to freewrite here today, just letting whatever comes out do so.  My last posts have been kind of logical and structured, which is great, but today I’m in a more intuitive mood.  When I asked for guidance on what to write about the Moon card came up-representing a clear channel to the deepest part of a person’s inner reality.  It is where a soul meets its maker.  Illusions and misconceptions are stripped away.  Now I am feeling a need to explain some of this-freewriting is good, but it needs to be balance with explanation.  Like alchemical fires purfiying metals.  Which reminds me, I watched a great hour-long film the other day called “Secrets of Alchemy” with Jay Weidner.  It explains the hidden meanings of the writings of the great French alchemist Fulcanelli, and Weidner’s translation of the Cross of Hendaye.  Many references are revealed to a global shift of consciousness in 2012, and how we as humans might prepare ourselves for this reformation.  I highly recommend it.

I am wondering now whether to post this as it is, whether to keep writing more to make it longer, whether to go back and edit it, whether to discard it or whether to table it for now and decide later.  Hmm… I think I’ll just post it now.  I feel like this exercise has been helpful in “building the writing muscle” as I talked about earlier.  Hopefully some of you find my stream of consciousness helpful in some way.

Part of the main site at Mystery Hill

Part of the main site at Mystery Hill

In a previous post “Meditating in The Monk’s Cave”, I briefly mentioned Mystery Hill in Salem, New Hampshire, known as “America’s Stonehenge”.  Consisting of a central site where the largest structures are located-Including many small stone chambers, a ceremonial table with a four and a half ton center piece and an “oracle chamber”-and many standing stones set up in circles around the site for a mile or so, the oldest structures at Mystery Hill have been determined by radiocarbon dating to be approximately 4,000 years old.  Mystery Hill is astronomically aligned and is believed by many to have been built by bronze age Celtic settlers of the new world due to it’s similarity to Celtic stone sites and especially because of apparent Celtic Ogham writings discovered at the site and at many similar, smaller locations throughout New England.  The site may have been used more recently by the Underground Railroad.

After my experiences meditating in my local “Druid cave”, I decided to visit Mystery Hill.  I made plans with my spiritually-aware cousin who lives near Salem and headed out on a Sunday afternoon.  With a little help from some locals we found the site, which has been owned and maintained by the Stone family for the past four decades.  About half a mile from the parking area we spotted the first stone chamber leading to the main site.  We walked around a bit and I took some pictures

There were a variety of interesting features and structures at the site (a guidebook is available at the visitor’s center), but the most interesting of all to us was the Oracle Chamber, which we could walk through and which was clearly designed by the Celts, Native Americans or whoever built it for ceremonial purposes.

I began to meditate and tune in to the energy of the place.  I could sense that although damage had been done to the site (in the 1840s 10%-40% of the stones were removed by quarrymen), very strong metaphysical energy still existed there.  I feel that it was primarily a place of healing.  After leaving the oracle chamber we observed (from a platform above it) the ceremonial table in this picture:

We had viewed the main site at that point, and we split up-my cousin went to meditate in the oracle chamber while I walked along the “astronomical trail” (the entire site is astronomically aligned, including solar, lunar and stellar alignments).  Every 50 or 100 feet (connected by stone walls) was a standing stone similar to this one

I returned to the visitor’s center to wait for my cousin.  While there I looked at some of the apparent Ogham inscriptions found at the site, representing the Celtic Sun God Bel.  When my cousin returned he told me his meditation had been extremely deep and powerful, and that he had a strong feeling that the main purpose of the site had been healing.
